Alen Air Purifiers ... Finished our tests and Alen Air makes a good air purifier.

About 6 weeks ago we were contacted by the folks a Alen Air. They are based out of Texas, my home state, and started in business in 2005. Over the last few years we had gotten a few calls from our customers asking us what we thought about Alen's products. Since we didn't know much there was not much we could say. Good or bad.

Paralda Air Ourifier
Well Dianne from Alen sent me their newest air purifier unit, Paralda, to check out. The Paralda is a very nice unit to look at, it has a sleek look, nice translucent green color, easy to use controls, quite and most important of all, it worked. We set it up and opened the front door to get the air inside the office nice and dirty. Our air quality monitor, Dylos  DC1100, read 1834 for the small particles, about 1 micron, and 310 for the large particles, about 5 microns.

After 30 minutes the monitor read 714 and 110 and after 1 hour it was 110 and 26. We left the air purifier running all night and when we came in at was at 6 and 0. Tested it a few more times and each time it performed pretty much the same.

The Paralda air purifier has a 4 speed dual fan, 3 stage purification - HEPA, UV and ionization, and produces no ozone. The maintance is not bad or expensive. The HEPA filter lasts 6-9 months and the UV lamps 2 years. Another thing about Alen air purifiers is they have a lifetime warranty. Only one in the industry I know of that has that.

I haven't tested all their units yet, but based on the performance of the Paralda we felt real comfortable in adding them to our store. If you want to see more on the Paralda or any other Alen air purifier just follow this like to our Alen page.

Wishing you the best of health

There is no doubt it looks great but I think more important it's what it can do. I don't think I could live without an air purifier in my house, it really makes the difference. It's good for health and it's good for comfort. Thanks for the recommendation!
