The Return of Petaseptic!
We got great news and I am so happy to share it!
The people at Petaseptic are back up and running again and are open for business. We were deeply saddened to hear of the fire that destroyed the Petaseptic facility. The good news is that the building was empty (it was the long Thanksgiving week-end) and no one was injured. However, the facility and equipment were a total loss. New stock of the product has not been available since the fire, and pets with allergies have been suffering.
You know we specialize in allergy control products for people, but did you know that we also help with allergy control for pets? With Petaseptic we can!
Flea allergy dermatitis is a common pet ailment, especially in warm weather. When the flea bites, it secretes a protein that causes an allergic reaction in many animals. It can be so severe that all it takes is one flea and one bite to set it off. The poor suffering animal with lick, chew and bite until the fur is gone and the skin is erupted and inflamed. You may have heard these referred to as "hot spots". They are pet misery!
For over 80 years, the Petaseptic formula has been solving this and other skin problems. While it can be used on horses, cats, dogs, and it also great for people too!
The unique formula of glycerine, witch hazel, camphor oil and rosemary works on many levels. First, animals don't like the taste of the camphor and rosemary, so it doesn't take more than one taste of the product for the licking to stop. Because it contains ingredients that moisturize and disinfect naturally, it provides relief and starts skin healing.
Did I mention you can use it on humans? I don't worry about flea allergy dermatitis at my house, but I do have to deal with mosquitoes and biting flies. The same properties that work to calm and soothe your pet's skin work just as well on human skin. One squirt and the itch and ouch from bug bites disappears!
By the way. Dogs and cats can be allergic to dust mites also. Well sell plenty of De-Mite to people who use it to wash their pet bedding to safely remove dust mites. If your pet shows signs of hot spots and constant itching, you should talk to your vet about the possibility of allergy. If your pet is positive for allergy to dust mites or fleas, give us a call or visit our website. We can help!
And Welcome Back to Petaseptic!!!
