A Good Humidifier Keeps You Comfortable
This winter the weather has been so strange. They were showing comments from viewers on the Weather Channel this morning and it made me smile. I guess quite a few of the people who live in the northern part of the country are enjoying it big time. They will be happy to have another 6 weeks of winter as long as it stays this way.
What can I say, as you know we are in South Florida so in most cases winter weather has little effect on us. Do get to keep the windows open for several months which helps with the electric bill.
One thing we have noticed is people are still buying our EssickAir evaporative humidifiers. There are still some places people are running their heaters. A good humidifier is very necessary for many people. The dry air is a trigger for a lot of people with asthma. Another trigger is cold air. We have a friend that said almost every time he heads up to NY to visit family during the winter he has an attack.

I know when we travel up to NC or out West during the winter our skin gets so dry and starts to itch. Drives me nuts. We are so used to the humidity down here and we have had to crank up humidifiers when we get where there.
